Oil Filter Replacement

Hi all AGAIN. Just going over my notes to start the usual yearly boat check and wondered if anyone has found a replacement for the Oil Filter on the Universal M25XPB engine? Some feed back was FRAM but with hesitation about quality. Any chance that you may have come up with a solution for this.

I just use the OEM. I change filters on average twice a year. The OEM filters cost $16.80 so you aren't going to save much by going aftermarket.

I use Kubota oil filters P/N 16271-32090. I think I pay about $5 for them. The Amish use the same motor we do on their generators that I am sure run more then my motor does.

I use a Baldwin B227 oil and BF940 fuel filters. I pick them up at Associated Diesel on Freeport St Dorchester- not far from you.

No it is not. I purchased my water pump from them when I changed it out a couple of years ago. Thanks for the tip.
