I have searched my Yanmar diesel thoroughly and there is no oil filter. Is it possible some of these were produced without oil filters? This is a 2005 Yanmar 2GM20 fresh water

the filter should be on the lower right side faceing the engine from front to rear and will look like a can a little larger than a pint can just below the alt......

ok attaching it now it is 12.5 mb ...will send when it it ready
...are there hoses running from where the filter is supposed to be.....it may have a remote filter set up on it although i dont know why.....just a thought....regards
