I am a new owner , I am sure the oil needs to be changed. So before I start sailing I am going to change the oil. Can someone recommend where I can get 1 and rhe part number for one? Thank you in advance.

From the information given or not given, can we assume that you are not fluent in diesel?
If so, you need to know that you NEED TO USE a diesel rated oil. Unlike a gas engine, the oil in a diesel will become black almost immediately after adding and running the engine.
Know that the API rating needs to a be a "C"... CH is the lower standard while CK-4 is the current top. 30 weight is a good viscosity.

The OEM oil filter for the Westerbeke 30B is #WEK036918. Not familiar with parts availability in your locale; may have to order from an online retailer. Can also use a non OEM filter such as WIX; they have a solid reputation in oil filter applications. If you’re going to order online, may as well order other parts that need replacement, as you don’t know when they were last changed and the boat hasn’t been used in two years. Consider parts such as raw water impeller & gaskets, engine mounted fuel filter & gaskets (secondary fuel filer), primary fuel filter (between tank & lift pump), and replacement belts for water pump & alternator, to consolidate shipping costs. Good idea to keep spares for these parts on board. I use Shell Rotella T motor oil ( available at Walmart) in viscosity rating that my engine manufacturer recommends. Should consider flushing & replacement of engine coolant & check age / status of batteries.

Well, I order from a Yanmar dealer within 60 miles of my location; no help for you. Checkout online Westerbeke sources or perhaps post a request, here on the forum, for reputable Westerbeke suppliers. Certainly, there are others, here on the forum, who have a source for Westerbeke parts. Good luck!
