I pulled the plunger out of the head pump....literally! It came all the way out. It looks like it came unscrewed from the piston-head. Anyway...does anybody know what the rebuild kit is for that, or if I can just buy a joker valve and some o-rings? If so, an idea of sizes??? She is a 1981 O'Day '34. Thanks! Griffin.

Rod Johnson,

What Brand/Model Head?

This question can not be asnwered without knowing the Brand and Model of head that you have on your 34. I know that WEST Marine, BOAT/US and many other Marine Suppliers sell rebuild kits for many heads. You could also do a search on the web, type in the brand name and search. I know that Raritan Heads has a web site and shows exploded views of their products.

That much I know...

I am trying to find out what was OEM on the boat. I left it 150 miles away yesterday and forgot to get the brand name... Thanks! Griffin.

May not be worth it

I bought a rebuild kit for my toilet. It cost more than half of the toilet itself, and in the end you have to waste your whole day to may be get the same quality toilet... Whould I have to do it again I would buy a Lavac toilet. I hear they are wonderfull and affordable...and very reliable.

Groco Maybe

My 1981 ODay 34 has a Groco model HE. The repair kit will cost you about $50 at Boat USA or West. I would would take Olivier's adived and replace the entire toilet unless you have an entire day to be up to it in your elbows.
