I don't think anywhere else in the marine market is cost as relevant to quality as in inflatable boats, RIB or not. As we are a charter boat in the Caribbean (or were, pre C-19) we saw a lot of makes on a daily basis over a long period of time.. However, we don't often see the off brands more than a dozen times or so before they are replaced by the more popular brands.
We get right around 10 years of daily use (not seasonable, but 365 days) in the tropics without any care (chaps, covers or coatings) at all. The two things we do is keep it inflated to basketball hardness and put it up on the davits whenever not in use.
