oem solar panel hunter 40.5

i am in the process of buying a hunter 40.5-wonder what the OEM solar panel on the deck is charging and if they still work after 15 years?

I have a 93 Legend 40.5 and the last time I checked it was putting out 16ish volts. Not that you can do much with the 1.2 amps it produces but does keep the batts topped off when on the hard and keeps up with the bilge pump when at the dock and off shore power.

Put an ohmmeter on it and check its output current. Otherwise you're just guessing.

i'll try that..never had one before and wondered about out-put and where it went..thanx
