Does anyone have a good solution to get rid of the "Beneteau Odors" in the sail boat. And how do you get rid of the Diesel smell?

Odors, and getting rid of them.

Bene odors? Haven't a clue, but if it's the head, here's the deal. Don't flush with saltwater. Use only a freshwater rinse, a cupful from the head faucet after a pee and pump the bowl dry. To take a dump, fill the bowl halfway with fresh water from the sink/shower faucet. Do your business, and pump the bowl dry. Rinse with freshwater again, pump dry again. Use a granulated deodorizer, not the liquid kind. As for diesel, don't fill the tank so full that fuel comes up the fuel hose and rests in it, it will seep an odor into the boat. That's how we do it on our boat.

Ditto Larry

With regard to the head we do the same thing that Larry does. Apparently a good source of odor is from the inside of the rim of the head. When the head is flushed with outside (salt) water it comes in through the rim and after the flush some of it sits in there and the micro-organisms decay, so I've been told, and it sounds plausible. Just recently we bought a product from West Marine called something like "Odorless" that seems to really work. It comes in a plastic container with a trigger spray device. The ingredients are not available on the container, but it does seem to work - at least temporarily. We also keep a dry bildge.

"Odor Off"

With regard to my previous post, my wife said she thinks the name of the spray (the stuff from West Marine, house brand) was "Odor Off". She reminded me it is only a temporary fix.
