Widgeon sails
Dale, If you can't find any used sails for your widgeon, you may be able to get them through Rudy Nickerson of D&R Marine. Rudy bought all of the O'Day sailboat molds when O'Day went out of business and he is currently having a boat builder in Bristol R.I. build the Widgeons for him. He has them shipped to his place in Assonet Ma. where he assembles and puts them together. As a matter of fact, any sail maker will have all the specifications on boats like the O'Day Widgeon, and could make a new suit of sails for it, but Rudy may be able to give you a better price, where he is buying them all the time for his boats. Here's his site. You may be better off calling him, as I'm not sure if he answers his emails. He usually gets hundreds of them and he's usually pretty busy as it is. I know Rudy pretty well and he's very knowledgeable about O'Days, having worked for them years ago at their Fall River MA. plant. Joe
