One Picture To Look At
Follow the link to Mike McIntire's O'Day site to see a picture of the mast and jib of an owners' Sprite. It's not the best shot but does give a small clue to the rigging, which for this small O'Day should be fairly straight forward. If there is a sailing club anywhere near you, that teaches or races dinghy's I might talk to them to get some ideas on how to rig your sprite. Most sailboats of this size are fairly similar in their set-up and if you don't get it exactly to factory specs, you should still be able to hob-nail a rig together for next summer. Also find a sail loft nearby that you can speak to, as I find that these people really understand the needs for rigging success, and may have the sail dimension spec's for the Sprite on their books already. Good luck.Don
