I have an 1982 O'Day 37 Center Cockpit and need to replace the masthead or end up purchasing an entire new rig.

Does anyone recall who manufactured the spars for O'Day during this time period?

Thanks!

rigrite

You can try Rig Rite at

I believe that o'day used Isomat spars.

I have ordered from Rigrite in the past. They can be difficult to work with but they have the parts.

Good luck,
Barry

Re: rigrite

O'Day mast were apparently made by many manufacturers. Even the same model boats often have different spars and booms and turnbuckels and you name it.

Use the previous post as a starter. Use a template of the size and shape to help match end of mast to masthead. Consider that if you get close having a local machine shop use your template to get it to fit.

Also you can use clay and plaster to make model of shape to insure fit.
