I have a O'Day 26 anniversary edition, but I noticed that some O'days have an /sl after the listed feet. Can you tell me what the sl stands for

I know that O'DAY had used the LE designation on some upgraded models, 192LE, 272LE, but I hadn't heard of the SL yet. Where did you see an O'DAY 26SL?
I couldn't tell you what the acronym stands for, but it's possible that the sl may signify the O'Day 26 inboard diesel model. My friend Ray has an O'Day 26 with an outboard on the transom bracket. He claims that O'Day did build a 26 with the inboard diesel engine. I've never seen one myself, but I know that his 26 used to sit a little high in the stern at the mooring. It's possible that when they designed these boats they took into consideration the weight of an inboard engine. Of course, if you remove that engine and stick an outboard on the transom, there will still be a weight difference that can cause the stern to sit higher in the water. O'Day did the same thing with the 272's, only they removed the wheel steering along with the inboard diesel. The O'DAY 26 had an optional Diesel inboard. I would guess that about 1/3 to 1/2 of the 26s had that option based on what I've seen on the used market.
The 272 was originally designed to be tiller-steered and outboard or optional diesel inboard for aux. The Wheel was added as an option sometime during the first model year (1986) and was part of the LE upgrade package that came out in 1987. Most of the 272s were tiller steered and had outboards, again based on what I see for sale.
