O'day Javelin fixed keel

I have a O'day javelin with a fixed Keel.i understand they are pretty rare have pulled the keel to rebel it as it was leaking pretty good.
I was wondering as the boat is so rare if it is worth anything if I sold it.

On this forum, you will find fellow sailors helping others to resolve issues regarding their safety, repairs, sailing tips, etc. It’s rare asking how much an old sailboat is worth when there’s a lot of resources to find out if it’s worth anything

I think Dave is accurate with his answer however to expand upon that I'd like to add that you're definitely on the right forum find out that answer for yourself so welcome to sailboatowners.com\ trailersailors. Here's a thought that came to mind as I read your question if this is your first sailboat and you bring it back to near new condition you probably will not find a similar boat priced less than what you've got invested in time and money for this one, nor as cherished by the way. Another thought is that old cars found in a barn shine up better generally, than old boats that are rare. Another remark about rarity and that is when someone comes up with a good rare idea someone else will be following with the cheaper faster good idea making the earlier one somewhat more rare and often less plentiful.

Thanks for your input. I would like to restore it my self.Life has a habit of getting in the way.I have looked at DR Marine they seem to have pretty much every thing I would need.Maybe someone who has a keel version of this boat will respond. I have not seen another one any where
