I've written and read about this topic before but never received an answer to my questions: why is my centerboard leaking and how can it be repaired. Every time I go sailing the bilge fills up with water making the boat heavy, slow and sluggish. I've caulked the centerboard plate and the bildge drain plug quite heavily and she still takes on water. Does anyone know how to repair this annoying, ongoing problem?
