Bill,
Back in the mid 1980s there was an O'Day Association that originated in Assonet Ma. I used to subscribe to there magazine. It wasn't for any particular class of O'Day sailboats though. They folded up in the 1990s I think. I had some of their magazines and gave them to Rudy Nickerson of D&R Marine, along with some O'Day factory newsletters that one of the secretaries used to send out free of charge to anyone who owned an O'Day sailboat, new or used. Her newsletters were very informative and were full of modifications that guys would send to her. Personally, I would like to see some kind of an association for the O'Day 222s. If you're willing to get up the site, I'll be happy to contribute all my modification ideas with pictures. O'Day only built about 300 of these 222s in their Fall River Ma. factory, and there were probably 300 more that were built on the West Coast, so I'm told. Personally, I think that the 222 was one of their best sailboat lines.
