O'Day 23 centerboard cable
Paul, Most of the time Rudy is by himself when wife Debbie isn't working in the office. He gets so many calls during the day, he's like a chicken with his head cut off. I asked him one day if he put a block on my email and he said, "go on my PC in the office and check my emails." He had 100s of emails that continued to come in as I was checking out his PC. If he didn't get back to you, I'm sure it wasn't intentional. It may have just slipped his mind, or he got side-tracked and didn't write out a reminder to get back to you. With that said; it may be advisable for you to check the movement of the centerboard to make sure that it works freely, if you haven't done so already. O'Day 23s built before 1974, had cast iron keels that were troublesome, from what I've been told. After 1974 they used lead keels and fiberglass centerboards. At any rate, I hope that I was able to be of some help. Good luck!Joe
