I'm doing a little research to find out what other owners get for cruising speed under power. I have a max-prop and only get about 6.5 kn at best at cruise rpm. It seems with a hull speed of 7.75 I should get better than that. Anybody have feedback on their 40 under power? Also I normally fly a 110% yankee headsail and have a tough time pointing with that sail... any comments as far as your boat's pointing ability? Thanks
