O'Day 37 muffler

I have just brought the boat back to Toronto to sell it, after having it in the Bahamas and the Caribbean for the last nine years.

The muffler on the exhaust system is leaking and the input port has been reduced in size by heat and the clamp being over-tightened.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a replacement? I am having trouble getting one from the usual sources, due to the size of the hose (2inch OD 1 5/8 ID

Without a picture, it's hard to tell. Catalina Direct has mufflers used in C30s, C34s and C36s that have that hose connection size. IIRC there have also been discussions on this board about O'Day suppliers, just don't personally recall the specifics or whether something like this is still available. Your other source is Vetus who make a variety of water lift mufflers.

On my O'Day 35 I am using a vetus waterlock 40 or wlock40. Google Vetus Waterlock for a good source and inlet and outlet size.

Our '78 37CC muffler has a Centek waterlock- 2" ID on engine and muffler. We had a westerbeke instead of the universal (replaced last year with a beta 30, again 2" ID exhaust).
