Has any replaced the carpet liner on the cabin walls? If so, is it difficult and what do you recommend to replace it with?
Thanks all

Its a bit of a pain scraping out the old liner but it is possible. if its the original, its actually a piece of fabric with a thin layer of foam behind it, it is glued directly to the fiberglass hull. Scraping is really the only way to remove it. i had the best luck with metal trowel you'd spread sheet rock joint compound with. then used a metal brush for all the cling-ons. elbow grease. people have chosen everything from high end mold resistant Marine carpeting to Home Depots / Lowe's outdoor floor covering... your budget will determine that. I'm in the possess- the slow process -of installing stingers with fiber glass and attaching a paneling for the wooden-boat look in the saloon and a mildew resistant carpet in the v berth and aft quarters. it'll be a pain - I've got a 25' and you've got 10+ feet than I but it's certainly a good opportunity to do some customization to your vessel! TIP: if you can remove the existing fabric in one piece it can serve as a template for your new coverings.
