I have an Oday 30 Keel/CB and would like some feedback as to using this boat (with appropriate upgrades, ie. rigging ect.) as a liveaboard cruiser for myself and my wife. We feel that the space and holding capacities are sufficient for our needs. Our cruising for the past three years has been along the coast of Maine where we live. We would like to load her up and cruise down the ICW to the keys and possibly to the Bahamas. Any thoughts as to the sea keeping abilities of this boat and crossing the gulf stream? She seems sound enough to handle some good sized seas and winds with appropriate care. I know that 30 ft. is on the boarder line, but for the money its a lot of boat.

Mark, read the ODay 30 boat reviews

Seems like the best-kept secret on this website is the great number and high quality of the owner reviews available. Check out the ODay 30 reviews. I just got done reading them, and they speak to many of your questions. You can e-mail the owners if you want detailed information. Tom
