We have no "proper" propane storage. Has anyone added a proper locker to the 28? The PO installed temporary hookup, but it is very inconvenient. I am looking to create a proper locker, sniffer, elec valve etc required. There is a compartment in the aft port cockpit. What was that used for previously? It currently houses the tank when not in use.
Our boat has 2 batteries installed where the hot water tank would go. It would seem that would be a good spot for an aftermarket locker, BUT it would also seem to take up a lot of room. I have seen a recent boat review showing a sliding locker....
