Gentlemen, you have been very helpful in the past.....and I need some additional input. I've been looking to move up from my 25ft O'Day to a 28ft O'Day. I've found a boat that is in pretty good shape but.... This boat has several stress cracks. In general, I know minor stress cracks are not a big deal. My concern is that these are on the roof of the dog house (odd place don't you think?). The previous owner has the lines lead aft to roof mounted winches. The starboard side has stress cracks (main) the port side of the roof does not. Is this common on 28's? Boat is a 1982.

I have a 27 and have a stress crack over my starboard bulkhead. Have look at a few 27 & 28s and most have them. No big deal to repair. There is no structual damage. No water into the core. Just ground them out and filled them in.
