The ODay 27 (1975 in my case) has a pedestal table that can be dropped to create a double berth out of the single bench in the salon. The table top was previously torqued and the threads stripped, so the table top needs to be securely refastened before using as a dbl berth (--and that makes sleeping in the V-berth tons of fun for us!) Any additional cushions and anything else that might have been used to secure the extended berth is now gone.
Can anyone post photos of this dbl berth extension to show the supports, and anything else I will need to make this a useable dbl berth again? Or improvements that work better too. (There are probably many other boats with the exact same configuration, so close matches would be appreciated as well)
