O'DAY 26 MAST LENGTH

The specifications on the O'Day Owners web site for the O'Day 26 indicate the "Mast Height" as being 33' 8". As the reference is to Mast Height (which most owners would be concerned about)as opposed to Mast Length, I suspect 33' 8" is the height of the mast above water. Does anyne know the actual length of the mast for an O'Day 26? Let me press my luck and ask about boom length! Thanks, Bruce C.

O'Day 26

Bruce, I've got a 26 and I ordered a new sail last year and the sailmaker took the measurements you speak of. I'll look thru my paperwork tonight and see what is on the invoice for the sail. I'll post you with the reults tomorrow. Or if the invoice doesnt list the specs, I can take some measurements this weekend myself and let you know next week. Mast Length

The mast length is going to be in the neighborhood of 27 to 28 feet, this is from looking at some pictures of my 26 rigged for trailering. The boom length is 10'. Ben Allen Montgomery, AL "Latte Dah" O'Day 26

Mast lenght

Bruce... Just measured the lenght of my O'Day 26 mast and it is 28ft 71/2 inches.

Correction!

28ft 81/2 inches, not 71/2 inches. I need a typing class!!
