Oday 25 vs C&C 25

Need some real help.

I learned to sail on an O'Day 25 that had a shallow keel (25" draft cb up, 4' cb down). Since then I've sailed a C&C 25 with a 4 foot draft.

I loved the C@c but want to sail in the relatively shallow waters of lake simcoe. I can get a delux, fully loaded C&C and worry about the draft or settle for a shallow O'Day. What r your thoughts?

While I think the OD 25 is a good boat, the C&C 25 is a better sailing boat IMHO. Yet, I think you've answered your own question: If you sail in thin water you need a shallow draft boat.
