Oday 25: teak plugs

Removing teak rails and teak at cabin way. What is best way for taking out plugs that cover screws. Tried a utility knife and that got ugly. Thanks.

I just took all my teak toerails off - find a brass screw and screw it into the bung. It will pop it right out - may have to use a few screws as they get dull.

How do you know what size of bung to order? Mine look to be 1/4 to 5/16th inch or somewhere close..At $ 16.00 a bag it would be helpful to order the correct size. Was there a standard size O'Day used on toe rails, etc.? Thanks, Pat

You'll have to measure the hole. Mine had two sizes depending on where they were installed.
