Oday 25 sink/faucet options

Hello all,

I took the water tank out of my Oday 25 as it was old and cracked - we never really had a use for it anyway as we carrier on fresh water when needed. We also keep a container of "wet wipes" on board to wash up when needed.

One question is what to do about the pump faucets that are still in place. I see no reason to keep them, has anyone else removed them? What did you use to cover up the hole?

Also - I think I want to keep the two sinks, but if anyone removed theirs, what did you do about the plumbing to the thru hulls? What did you put in place of the sink?

I took out the sink and covered the countertop with a sheet of ash plywood painted white. On the stbd side of the bilge I installed a bilge pump w/ a float switch. The discharge from the bilge pump rises up to a vented loop and down to the old sink discharge thru-hull.
