oday 25 rudder replacement

I need to make a new rudder for my oday 25. Mine was lost when it broke off just below the lower pinion in a storm. Could someone please tell me what the dimensions are for the transom hung rudder on the oday 25 swing keel? I still have the top half, but specifically don't know how long the rudder is. Don evans did what you're talking about and posted photos I don't recal if measurements were provided. There have been posts in the past on the same thing (including when I broke mine, but I bought one.) I don't have the deminsions but I believe that I traced mine on the luan the packed it in so I could reproduce if it broke again. They are expensive to buy. I'll try and remember to put a tape to it tonight if you don't find them in the archives.Later,Mike

oday 25 rudder dimmensions

I'm working on the rudder for my 1977 O'Day 25 here's a picture with some measurements that I just made. Hope that this helps.
