I purchased a CDI FF6 furler last year and plan to install it this spring. Anybody have an opinion as to whether this furler is the right size for my 25?

We have an O'day 26, and we installed the FF4 last year. The FF6 is probably too big for your boat.

It's possible that the FF4 and the FF6 have the same drum but the only difference would be the longer luff length of the FF6, which you will probably need to cut anyway. Check with CDI.

Yeah, looking at the specs on their website it appears that the only difference is a rope vs. wire halyard. I've sent them an email, just waiting for a response. I think I'm good to go though.
Word from CDI is that it'll work for my boat. Just going to cut the furler extrusion and have the wire halyard shortened up.
