Oday 25 CB owners, I Have noticed that every Oday 25 I have looked at has the galley across the companionway entry. I have not seen the 25 with an inboard yet. I am wondering if the galley is the same? How hard would it be to convert to an inboard? thank for your response, r.w. landau

I'll check it out for ya

phil - that start over button kills me! r.w. - I don't know for sure about the differences, but there is an 025 in the yard where my boat is being stored. I'll see if I can scope it for you. Of course, by then Don will have answered the questions. Thank goodness for Don! Without him I would have to board every O'day I came across to try and serve this forum. :) Justin - O'day Owners' Web

OD25 with inboard

r.w. I have a OD25 fixed keel with an inboard. A friend has a OD25 CB with an outboard and the interior of our boats are indentical with the galley running athwartship below the companionway entry.

Paul is Correct

In order to install an inboard you have to give up the drawer space beneath the companionway counter. I could not afford to lose this function so I shortened the starboard settee by 2 feet and turned the corner with my counter and rebuilt drawers their. I kept the sink where it was, and it hangs down insidde the engine box. I built a removable engine box door, to access the engine. It was a good winter project. Don
