Bilge showed signs of minor water accumulation late last year. When sloop was pulled for the winter I noted that wing keel seems to be less than snug to it's mount (about a 1/4" gap). I suspect that the keel has loosened over the years (it is 20+ years old after all..). I have all good intent of removing the caulk around the keel, tightening the keel bolts & recaulking the keel before I launch this spring. Has anyone experienced this situation and/or have any advice on accomplishing this task? I could have a local marine contractor do the work, but thought I would try it mysef before prying open my wallet....
