Oday 22 scupper

The outside ring to the scupper on my Oday 22 sheared off. What replacement scupper will fit this model boat?The inside diameter of the ring is 1 inch and the outside diameter, including flange is 2 and 1/4 inches. Does Oday original equipment require a hose with the scupper? There appears to be a plastic tube inside the drainage, as if the entire thing is plastic with flanges on each end.Also, is the scupper on this model straight, or does it require a scupper with an "elbow?"I can find nothing in the West Marine catalogue that is close.Any suggestions?

cockpit drain

John, I went through this with my o'day 22 also. The fixture is just a standard through -hull with a straight nipple.If you refer to Mike Ruth's posting in "ask an O'day owner"--"arrg, where is this water coming from?", there are some good answers.There is a rubber hose the nipple connects to under the cock pit.Good luck and have fun!

Scupper problems???

I think I found what you were talking about. If you can go head first, to the back of the port berth, you well get a good look at this tubing that goes from the cockpit to the stern. It looks like "PVC" to me but I could be wrong. To make sure I would contact the folks at "D&R Enterprises" in Assonet, Ma. There phone number is (508)644-3001. Rudi is a former employee from O'day and aquired a large inventory from them when they closed there doors some years ago.
