I am resurrecting an Oday 22 that has been rather gutted and roughly rebuilt. I think it's a 1975. Does anyone have a clear plan and / or photos of the original layout ? Thanx...

There is a fairly extensive blog with numerous pics, including the occasional pics of the interior, at www.oday22.com There are 28 pages in all of this person's restoration of his 1974 Oday 22. My brother in law had the same boat, and I can try to find the pictures, but I suspect most of the photo ops were topsides while sailing and none of the interior, I suspect. Paging through the blog, you will get a sense of where the bulkheads were. As I recall the head was to port forward between the V berth bulkhead and main salon bulkhead. The door was hinged on the forward bulkhead port side, and would swing to create privacy for either the head or the forward V berth. The galley was against the forward port salon bulkhead. I recall quarterberths on either side and a very small salon table perhaps 24 x 24 in size. There is an oday 22 down at our yacht club, but I don't know the condition of the interior, and it does not open for another couple of months yet. It is a fairly common boat so you should be able to get an idea from owners on the forum. Keep looking around, but do check www.oday22.com for the blog with pics.

Check the "Boat Info" tab at the top of this page, then click on "Model Info" and when that page comes up, click on "22". I have posted a few different copies of the interior plan, both in profile and top view. Unfortunately, the drawings are not dimensioned, but at least you get an idea. The 1975 model would have the same interior as the 1973 or later versions as shown in hte brochure copies.
