Has anyone rebuilt the interior of their 22' O'day to a more workable layout? Curious to hear from others, see pictures and layouts to give people an idea of what works, or does not work.

Check out my photo album on this site under "Owner Photo Album" O'Day 222 and click on my name. I have some picture of mods that I did on my galley cabinet. We have different model O'Days, but I think that some of the same ideas could work on either boat. My galley cabinet is made up of only two sides and a small door. The stainless steel sink and metal stove pan that I installed in this cabinet practically took up the whole top of this cabinet. The original cabinet design came with a fiberglass sink and stove pit that fit into the top of the cabinet, and I did away with it. At any rate, the cabinet looks so simple to build with only two sides to it. I also built that shelf. Not bad for a hack, Huh?
