Hi, new owner of an ODay 22. Would anyone know why there is this indent on the cabin floor, I've pointed the section of floor out with an arrow on the photo. Any feedback appreciated.

Hard to tell from the photo. Dent can be caused my any number of falling objects espeacially during a heavy blow, espeacially with wind shifts.

I should explain the indent is about 2m long and 8 in wide, hopefully you can pick this up on the photo

It is likely a panel that pops out so you can see the hull side of the keel/bilge. Boat soles (floors) are made so that you can open up panels get to places that need to be maintained.

Thankyou John, that's exactly my question!
I understand that it should allow access to the hull, however my boat doesn't appear to have a 'panel' as such, which would pop out. Perhaps my panel hasn't been lifted for so long that it has fixed itself solid to the soles. I will check if I can prise it open at one end.

It looks like the navigation desk/table is on top of your bilge cover preventing you from pulling it up
