O'Day 22 Boon Vang

I'm going to fit a Boom Vang to my 22. I cant see any sign of one being been fitted before.
Does anybody have any photo's or details of fittings, types location?

Here's some details of the one I installed.





I installed an organizer plate under the tabernacle for an attachment point at the base of the mast.

The one I got from DRMarine only had a hole on one end and would only fit with the hole on the forward end. The one from Rig-Rite has one on each end.
Then a Boom Bail - Internal: K-11364 on the boom.http://rigrite.com/Spars/Kenyon_Spars/D-boom.html.
I cut a small slot in the bottom of the boom, using the bail for as a pattern for the slot and the holes, and inserted the boom bail inside and pop riveted it in place. Nice neat installation. The boom bail is located about 1/3 of the distance back from the mast. I got the vang from Sail Care. http://sailcare.com/rope-vangs.shtml.
