O'Day 20'Center Board Pin Help

Just got my first boat,an 1975 O'Day 20'. Its on a trailer and I want to check and or replace the center board pin before putting her in. I don't know how to go about it.Is there a book or article relevent to an O'Day 20'. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Ruben: The pin is a 1 inch nylon (?) pin located about 1/4 of the way back from the front of the keel shoe. Look for some type of sealant filling the holes about 2/3 of the way up from the bottom of the keel. You can remove the pin by knocking it out with an appropriately sized tool (old screwdriver or cold chisel or piece of rebar) and some sweat. It comes out fairly easy. Replacement pins should be available from Rudy and D & R Marine. Good luck.
