Hello friends, I am I'm need of some used sails for my o'day 20 year 1977. I am currently set up with hobie 16 mast and sails. I retrofitted the mast with spreaders and re-rigged the whole boat however the sail area is a bit over. The 1977 I believe had a 27' mast and was rigged as a fractional. My mast is 26.5 so it should work or if I found sails from the masthead sloop I could cut it down. What are your thoughts. Thanks, Scott

If you have the 9' boom for the O'day 20 then San Juan 21 Main sails might work as well. The SJ21 MKII Main is about 23' tall and the foot length is 8.75'. If you have a 26' mast and the 9' boom that would be pretty close I think.

When you retrofitted the mast, did you add a different masthead than the stock Hobie masthead?
