I just bought a 1974 Oday 20 and discovered the mast insert supporting the lower halyard pulleys is only connected to the mast by (3) rather small (3/32 ?) roll pins.....one of which seems to be missing. I realize the stays do the bulk of the work, but this seems a little light to me. However, this is the smallest sailboat I've owned and I don't have any kind of a yardstick to go by, so thought I might depend on someone's good graces for a confirmation. As an assist, I've attached a couple of close up pictures to show the pins in question. If anyone can confirm this is the proper set up and has the time to let me know, it would be very much appreciated.
