I have an '86 192 oday. I'm on a moring in brackish water. This year it's been taking on a good deal of rain water. I've confirmed that the leak is not the cockpit dain hose. Boat remains dry in all but he heaviest rains but the cabin gets 1' plus of water sometimes. Wondering if in the heavy rain, the drain is too slow and water rises to empty into the cabin through the center board line deck fitting and the bildge via the port side storage compartment. I tried sealing with duct tape but realize its not water tight. I've a 2 part question.
1. Does that seem reasonable for a cause?
2. What is the fitting where the cb line feeds through the cockpit suppose to look like? I'm sure I'm not suppose to see daylight through through the fitting.
Any help here is appreciated.
