Oday 19 hull parts

I am still in the process of trying to glue my 0day 19 back together. I finally finished the lower hull repair. I am now trying to figure out the topside repair to the deck. I was wondering if anyone out there has a line on one that was damaged during the past years storms. I would like to get a section of the Starboard (right) side if someone knows where one is sitting.

If you can find one to "borrow" you can make a mold from the section you need, but that would entail removing rub-rail on the loaner. It looks like best (quickest, easiest) approach would be to simply rebuild what you have. You would probably end up with different hull-to-deck joint than original, but would be strong and your new rub-rail would would be incorporated.

I made a mold of the port side and I will probably just end up using it to make the starboard side. It would be close enough most would not see the difference.

Mine never had a rub rail on it which I am glad of or the damage would have been much worse I think after it came down on the dock during the storm.

I already use the west systems epoxy to glue the deck back down to the hull. I can actually get to this area inside so I could also leave a space to fill with epoxy from the inside as well.



I am in Weeki Wachee, FL if anyone near buy has one I can make a mold of That would be awesome. I put down aluminum tape on the port side and it worked great with no epoxy getting on the boat. It just peeled off then I wiped it down to clean off any glue from the tape.

Dude, check out the "Mariner Class Association" web site. It's all about Mariners. Also Stuart Marine, They make them there.

Pshappard, just so you know, the O'day 19 and the Mariner 19 are different hulls. Actually, from what I gather, the Rhodes 19 and the Mariner are the same hulls, but different decks.
