Oceanis 400 Gas Cannisters

Hi I'm the new owner of a Oceanis 400, anyone know where the Gas Cannister is kept?
I've found one little one in the Port rear cockpit locker - is that it? I thought that one might just be for the BBQ. Any help appreciated

How little is little? Most boats use a 10lb tank; smaller then your home grills 20lb tank

PS - people often use the small camping (1lb) tanks with an adapter when the big tank runs out.

Yes. It looks like a 4kg / 10 lb tank to me, so thats it.

Port side behind the wheel you will find a the locker for the in use tank. You will notice a solenoid and propane hose. Port side in front of the in use locker is a second large locker used to store a second not in use tank. The not in use tank is stored in the aft of the locker. All lockers should be insulated where the covers close. You should check the vent is not blocked, it is in the bottom of the lockers. Enjoy your new 400. I have had mine since 2000.
