Has anyone installed either the Lewmar or Ocean air roller shade/screen on their newer Hunter 33 (2005). If so, how easy was it to install? Would you do it again? What size did you use?
I can't seem to find one that fits the measurements I took from the hatch.

i got one for the v-berth hatch on the h28.5. I love it. i had to replace the original bomar 900 series hatch so it was good timing. - used a bomar nibo for the new hatch.
the screen shade went in pretty easy- just need some patience in the process of trimming out the trim- which is a thin vinyl strip that goes from the lip of the shade frame and tucks in just behind the lip of the hatch frame. 4 screws- one in each corner- hold the frame to the underside of the headliner. its well made, a little pricey but it is pretty trim upon instal- almost disappears into the headliner and allows one to decide if one wants all screen or all shade or any % in between as the edge of the screen and the shade each have a magnetic strip and they "kiss" eachother to stay in position. I have jpgs of the install if you want them- i'm in the directory- send me an email and i'll revert with added details.

Thanks for the reply jtmccue. I will most likely install them if I can find the right size.

Thanks again, I have found similar sizing tables for the Lewmar & Bomar hatches. The problem is that they show what I measure on my hatches. The Lewmar table show a 17 3/8" square or 20" square measurment on the chart after you remove the factory trim but, my hatches measrue 17 7/8" square. Go figure.

Update

Just installed the Lewmar roller shades in our 2005 Hunter 33. Couldn't have been easer. Took about five minutes per shade and look great. It's really nice to have screens and still be able to get the hatch open and closed with no hassels.

Wher

Where did you get your roller screens and who has the best price for them because they are $$$$$$.
I live in Florida and out many times anchored out over night or during day when it starts to rain and we go crazy pulling hatch screens from hatch and than closing to keep rain out is a real pain.
So who has best price.

We got them thru West Marine. They were only a few dollars more than the other guys and we could return them without a restocking fee if they didn't fit as well as we expected. P-yacht was $176.00 and West Marine was $179.00. Looked at the Ocean Air screens at AhoyCaptain a little cheaper $163.00 but went with the Lewmar because they were one peice units.
