Hi All, I am brand new to this forum and very excited to learn of its existence. I am writing on behalf of some of my close friends who acquired the "Secret Love" last year, which is a 1973 Morgan Out Island 41 center cockpit sloop cruiser, previously used for chartered trips around the Windward Islands. Please be aware that these two crossed the Atlantic using a Windpilot Pacific Light that they installed on their Alpin Vega the "Liza" before leaving from the Canaries, so they are no stranger to Windpilot windvanes. They plan to install a Windpilot Pacific windvane steering next month and I am wondering if anyone has installed this unit on a similar boat and has any lessons learned about this installation? Would anyone by-chance have detailed sketches or schematics of the rear deck and cockpit of a Morgan Out Island 41 Sloop center cockpit? Thanks!
