O-Day Leaking cabin hatch

I am rebuilding a 1976 O-Day 27, and would appreciate any advice or references to literature that could be provided. I would like to know how other owners stopped cabin leaks (particularly cbin hatch leaks -- is the cabin hatch rails fastened with self tap screws or bolt, washer, and nut combination. Does any one have any electrical wiring diagrams for an O-Dau 27? Thank you for your interest. Donald Fulcher

272 Hatch

I found that when my 272 was hauled it sat in the cradle slightly tilted backward. This caused rain to get into the companionway via the closed hatch. However, back in the water and sitting correctly, there is no problem. Cover your hatch with a tarp until you get in the water.
