I've posted some pictures of the Pacific Northwest Rendezvous on a
photo site.
The rendezvous was held at Fisherman Bay on Lopez Island in the San
Juan islands. The facilities were excellent and a good time was had by
all.

I've never before posted pictures using this provider, and as a result
they are not in any particular order. The small pictures are captioned,
but when viewing the slide show these captions are not visible.

Melanie,
It's a "Rachel"

I originally built it to tow behind my Montgomery 17

It has served the M17, a Lancer 25, a San Juan 24, and now the Vega.
When I built it I scaled all dimensions down 10%. The designer told
me (too late, it was already finished) that I should have left the
beam full and only scaled back the length.

As a result it's not as stable as it could be, but has served me well
for many years. It fits easily on the Vega fore deck, ahead of the
mast with 9" to spare. Maybe I should build another one full sized!

Peter,

Those pictures of the West Coast make those of us cruisers on the East coast wish we were not so far away. That rendezvous always looks like a great time.
