This may seem like an odd queston. We just purchased a 1981 Cat 22. We are trying to set the mast. When we started nothing was attached. On the stern there are two plates for the rear stay and we only have one stay coming off the mast. Now for my question, should we have two rear stays or just one? I am sure you can tell we are new to sailing and I would like to thank you in advance for your help.
