Nuclear Sails Question?

I found a manufacturer "Nuclear Sails" in the US that make high performance, low cost race sails. From what a few friends say is that they have a rather short lifespan but offer a possible good value for club racers. The serious expense of outfitting with a good inventory my be improved by the lower cost of these sails.Comments appreciated...

Let's see, you'll go deaf by the second

mark from the noise they make. You won't be able to see through the sail after the first season. They won't flake for crap, imagine trying to flake aluminum foil. Other than that.....
