Just paid for mine today!
Ya need to include a few details...1. Does it have a fixed or swing keel?If it's a swing keel find out when the last owner replaced the cable. When the keel was painted. When was the pivot pin replaced.Check ALL the friggin lights , if possible...I missed this one....DOH!Does it have a trailer? Are the tires cracking?Mine were the wrong tires..should have been 6 ply C rated tires...mine were b rated bias ply for a car!If your not sure what your looking for either hire a marine surveyor or find a willing Cat 22 owner to look the boat over. IT"S WORTH IT!Go out in the boat and see if it "fits" you.I've seen many people buy boats only to find out afterwards it wasn't what they really wanted or needed. My Cat22 was well loved and I'm Thrilled to own it...Good luck and enjoy your boat.
