I am having no luck getting my reverse to engage (although it will reverse if I pull it up hard). Is it supposed to lock into gear like forward does? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dan
You didn't mention what engine and transmission you have. If it's an Atomic 4 gas engine, then it doesn't actually shift into reverse. What you described would be normal.
I do have an atomic 4... thank you very much for the feedback. I was hoping it was supposed to be that way. I'm going to attempt to change the packing gland in the water this weekend... but I need to remove the gas tank to do so.
