Northwest Vega Rendezvous

2016 ALBIN VEGA RENDEZVOUSIt's Canada's turn, and we're holding the 2016 Rendezvous at Newcastle Island Marine Park off Nanaimo BC, June 28, 29, 30.Some of you are familiar with the proposed venue, but for those who are not the Island has docks, mooring buoys, and good anchorage. There are clean wash rooms with showers, camping facilities, beautiful beaches, and miles of scenic walking and biking trails on the Island. No reservations are needed, and rates are reasonable for mooring balls and dock space, and anchoring out is free. A short dinghy ride away is the Dinghy Dock Pub/Restaurant , and just across the harbour is the town of Nanaimo, with marina, fuel dock, and shopping, all within easy walking distance of the dinghy landing.So there we go ... no one to contact, no advance reservations to make, and no reason not to come and have a great time with friends, old and new!--

There's a foot ferry that goes to the island hourly: http://www.newcastleisland.ca/visit-newcastle-island This RV park is just south of the City.
